Honda Motorcycles, one of the leading motorcycle sellers in India has launched the much talked about new 110cc bike – The “CB Twister”. It is categorized in the entry level motorcycles because of its price and engine capacity. Because of its looks and styling, it seems that the designers had high end super bikes of Honda in mind, while designing the CB Twister. The bike looks very sporty and aggressive.
Fitted with an 110cc four stroke engine it generates maximum power of 9 Bhp at 8000 rpm with maximum torque of 9 Nm @ 6000 rpm Fitted with an 110cc four stroke engine it delivers a maximum power of 9 BHP at 8000 RPM and a maximum torque of 9 Nm at 6000 RPM. The weight of the bike (108 kgs) which definitely would make this bike a treat to flip through roads with ease. This bike promises to deliver fuel efficiency of 70 kmpl under real road conditions. The front suspension does its job with telescopic hydraulics whereas the rear duty is performed by rectangular box swing arm type spring loaded hydraulics. Braking duties are performed by 240mm discs at the front and normal 110mm drums at the rear. Moving on to the instrumentation bit, the bike still does with the traditional analogue speedo meter and fuel gauge but the way they have been designed impressed us a lot. The bike also comes loaded with a sporty half chain cover in keeping with the latest trends. Along with other features, CB Twister also offers a huge 180mm ground clearance of the bike, fuel tank capacity of 8 liters and a maintenance free 12 V 3 Ah battery is also provided with the bike.
Honda CB Twister will be available in three variant but with same tyre dimensions in all the variants.
1. CB Twister with kick start, alloy wheels and drum brakes
2. CB Twister with Electric start, alloy wheels and drum brakes and
3. CB Twister with Electric Start, Alloy wheels and Disc brake (240 mm)
The CB Twister will be available to customers by end of February 2010. Living up to the style aspirations of Indian two-wheeler customers, CB Twister offers style, unmatched performance, good mileage and convenience at an affordable cost. Strictly adhering to the BS-III norms, CB Twister would be one of the most environment-friendly bike. So, this time too, Honda has continued to introduce innovative models with advanced technology and attractive features.
