BMW’s predecessor is a plane called Factory BFW, founded in March 7, 1916, was a world-famous plane manufacturing company.

July 20, 1917, BFW would begin the reorganization of the company, formally known as BMW. Company'sPioneer is Gustan Otto.

     1922, BMW has developed the first motorcycle engine, although not to be adopted, but the depot had set an important direction, after the fort at Nuremberg of the Victoria-Worke factories created the first 500ml two-cylinder motorcycle engine and the R32 motorcycle, launched their business.      BMW motorcycles have won a series of victories: the 1925 win 91 times, 105 times in 1926, 171 times in 1927.
